Technical Support

We offer phone and remote support, backed by an online customer portal containing helpful resources, software updates, configuration guides, troubleshooting information, and practical solutions to common issues. Our goal is to provide clear, effective support without the complexity often associated with vendor technical assistance.

Device Configuration & Deployment

For larger rollouts, Barcode Dynamics can configure, test, and prepare devices prior to deployment, ensuring they are ready for immediate use. Our deployment services include software installation, device configuration, asset tagging, and fleet documentation to simplify implementation and ongoing asset management.

Repairs & Warranty Management

Our Brisbane-based repair centre is authorised to service a broad range of enterprise mobile computers, barcode scanners, and printers in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. We maintain an extensive inventory of genuine spare parts to deliver fast turnaround times and minimise operational disruption.

Where equipment requires manufacturer repair, we manage the entire Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) process on your behalf, including device collection, vendor coordination, and repair tracking.

Every repaired handheld device is returned fully tested, cleaned, and reconfigured, allowing it to be placed straight back into service. We can also assist with legacy systems like Zebra’s Mobility Services Platform (MSP).

Our Technical Support team provides specialist support for a variety of hardware devices and software applications. Phone and Web Support While many of our vendors provide technical support, the information they provide can often be highly technical and overly complicated. To make life easier, Barcode Dynamics provides its clients with phone support, as well as access to an information portal (intranet). Our portal has practical information on a range of topics, including software upgrades and patches, system resets andquick fixes / shortcuts.

Configuration and Testing

On larger projects, Barcode Dynamics is able to configure and test devices prior to deployment.This process may also involve asset tagging and fleet documentation tasks.

Repairs

Barcode Dynamics is certified to repair a broad range of devices and printers, as per vendor guide lines. Our repair centre located at Morningside in Brisbane carries a large inventory of spare parts, and is able to collect “failed” equipment from your premises.

For devices and equipment that must be returned to the vendor for repair, Barcode Dynamics will manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process. We’ll collect the device(s) from your office and work with the relevant vendor to meet the required turnaround time.

Handheld devices will always come back from our repair centre in a “clean” and “re-configured”state - ready to go straight back into the field.

Our proactive management of enhanced warranty contracts ensures that your devices arealways covered.
